"Total Make Over" How to expand a small typical "cape cod" neighborhood house for a growing family and modern lifestyle? The family stayed while the work went on. The original house actually stays intact inside the expansion. The former garage foundation is used for a new two story "family room / bedroom" addition. A one-story kitchen/breakfast addition is added on the rear. This site is a corner lot, allowing the new garage addition to be reorientated and "leveled" to the adjacent street. The Owner was the contractor, a very delightful client.
